God allows such perversion to test those who love him, to see if we will maintain our love for him or if it will grow cold.
I think we have a few more years yet, we are not at the end at this moment, but these are certainly signs that it is on it's way.
When the two witnesses of God come on the scene, and the two false witnesses of the Beast also arise, then it still won't be the end- for they will continue for 3.5 years!!! Rev 11:3-6
We must be prepared for a long wait from here on out.
