Great points, and I do mostly agree with you, yet interestingly communism hated Christmas too, if Christians want to remember the incarnation of Christ on that specific day then that's between them and Heavenly father or whatever day they may choose, which ultimately we celebrate venerate honour and worship Jesus as King & Almighty Creator God each and every day of every breath we have been blessed to breathe and that's what I do from our Living God but without any form of compromise with the world, or materialism, or through greed or gluttony overeating, surfeiting, revelry, licentiousness drunkeness etc but as a way to demonstrate the faith spirit character nature & likeness of Jesus Christ in and through us & in loving and giving to others which we are commanded to do each and every day as we have the living indwelling of Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit within us while we are dwelling upon this earthly realm and dimension. I see how under persecution utilising the Christmas day as a way to indeed share Jesus Christ hence the name of Christ in mass then Godly divine wisdom will dictate and help us to do so, as we are to share him each and every day and st every opportunity and as holy spirit led guided and instructed but not ever with the trappings that has so often become associated with the western ostentatious, incorporating inane concepts that are of the unregerate carnal unrenewed minds and hearts of the world that having nothing whatsoever to do with honouring Jesus Christ as Lord nor of giving him thanks.
And sadly mostly nearly all of the 45,000 different denominations, non denominational are all part of it. Even the Evangelical alliance through the practise of ecumenicism of interfaith are all connected and most who go to their churches don't even know and don't ever bother to take the time to find out, or even ask Heavenly father in prayer and that the Holy Spirit leads them into all truth.

It was added by the Roman Sun worshiping Empreror Constantine in 336AD, look it up in any Encyclopaedia.
