I believe this is one of the hardest things to do...loving your enemies, being able to forgive. Alone we can't. Only through YESHUA can we love our enemies as HE did and forgive as HE does.
Yes, ONLY he can give a person the grace to forgive when there's a lot of hurt involved. But if a person asks for this grace, he will give and set the person free.
It's why he died...we turn from the anger and bitterness that has taken root, and at the foot of the cross, claim forgiveness for ourselves, as well as our oppressors...
