Those churches think they're ok, they see it too - the approaching Tribulation, and their response to it is to stock up with goods to get them through the hard times of the Tribulation. But there's no stocking up on ...OIL. They've missed the whole point. And when the Bridegroom comes, they will be left behind to consume the goods they've prepared with.

I cannot live without the Holy Spirit! The Spirit of God, whom Jesus promised to send, to remind us of what he taught and lead us into all (that is, complete) truth! Yes, too many “churches” have let their spiritual lamps go out. Yet, here in England, and the localities where I have lived, and also where I live now, many are hungry and thirsty for the Holy Spirit…

Amen. Beautifully said. Lately, I've begun explaining things and then just telling the readers or listeners to turn to Jesus and ask out loud. "What do you want me to do now?" I explain what is needed. I offer to help any way I can. But, unless they make a move there's nothing I can do but pray that they'll come to their senses. I can't seem to get them to understand that the time available to make that decision is almost over.

It breaks my heart. Family members. Friends. Probably will be left behind.

Yes, it is sad beyond words. I suppose the saying is apt: “You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink”. As well as us listening to the Holy Spirit’s prompting and responding, it also does depend upon the hearer’s openness to Jesus, and their willingness to have done with their own pride, and humble themselves. But that, too, is a secret and wonderful work of God and the Holy Spirit.

(BTW, I hold firmly to the Biblical doctrine of God being of three persons in One - “Elohim” - plural, in perfect communion of love.)
